Bridget Tod

Bridget Tod is a visual artist, life model and writer living in Dundee. She works in a variety of mediums: mainly digital illustration, ink, watercolour, acrylic and collage. Her work is bold, fierce and ethereal. Influenced by personal experience and her birthwork, Bridget’s current body of work also explores normativity and the gendering of parental roles and responsibilities. She highlights struggle, joy and rage: the weight of pregnancy, birth and parenting under capitalism and patriarchy. Bridget also runs creative journaling sessions for LGBT+ parents and caregivers. Online sessions are available for people across the UK and in-person sessions based in Dundee.
