Ruth Charnock is a lapsed academic, writer, storyworker, tutor, tarot reader and artist. She is the editor of 'Joni Mitchell: New Critical Readings' [Bloomsbury, 2019] and author of various pieces of creative non-fiction. Her most recent work has been preoccupied with the fetishization of the 'blooming' pregnant body , with narratives of gendered work and with the ways in which women’s bodies and identities are stitched back together, or not, following pregnancy and childbirth.
