Raisa Nosova

 
 
 

Raisa Nosova holds an MFA degree from NYU Steinhardt. She is a recipient of the George T. Dorsch Art History Grant and Fannie Kipnes Memorial Award for oil painting. She has completed an Artist Residency at the Berlin Art Institute and at ESKFF in Jersey City, NJ. Raisa has been the highlight artist for the Montclair Art Museum, NJ, a guest speaker at the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York City, and an artist on panel discussions at the San Joaquin County Office of Education, Stockton CA, Monmouth Museum, Monmouth, NJ and the Laurelwood Arboretum, Wayne, NJ. Raisa is an adjunct painting professor at the New York University and the founder of Supernosovas art education program for youth.

Solo exhibitions include 80WSE Gallery, New York, NY, La Galerie Emeric Hahn, Paris, Parasol Projects, New York City and Amsterdam International Art Fair. Nosova’s public art projects are located in Brooklyn NY, Yonkers NY, Hoboken NJ, Paris and Berlin. Group shows include Drawing Rooms, Jersey City, NJ, Mulberry Street Library, New York City, 440 Gallery Brooklyn, NY, Workspace Gallery, Tacoma, WA, Espace Moss, Brussels, Armory Art Center, West Palm Beach, Monmouth Museum, NJ, Morristown Museum, NJ and the Whistler Museum, Lowell, MA. Her work has been featured in periodicals including Star Leger, Washington Square Review and Fresh Paint Magazine.
